Carl Dade, LMSW
Hello. My name is Carl Dade. I am very happy you decided to receive services from New Day Counseling
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in 1996. As a Licensed Master Social Worker with both Macro and Micro Social Work licensure in the State of Michigan, I bring more than 20 years of experience providing therapy and support to children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds.
In addition to my clinical work, I currently serve as a School Social Worker. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with students and families affected by learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional impairments, cognitive impairments, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Building trusting relationships with youth and their families has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
My education, training, and professional experiences have prepared me to effectively support individuals and families from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am especially interested in providing therapy, social-emotional support, and guidance to children, adolescents, and families.
My approach to therapy is rooted in partnership, compassion, and respect. I believe that healing is a collaborative process, and my goal is to help clients identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and achieve the goals that are most important to them. Together, we can work toward meaningful growth, improved well-being, and lasting positive change.
I hope that when you reach out to me to receive therapy that we will together achieve your goals that you established for your journey toward healing.
