Mary Cotter, LLPC
As a compassionate and attentive counselor, I specialize in helping individuals navigate addiction,
anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session,
intervention, and treatment strategy to meet the unique needs, goals, and experiences of every client. I
deeply value individuality, authenticity, and self-expression, and I strive to create a therapeutic
relationship where each person feels seen, heard, and respected for who they truly are.
My clinical background includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
stress management, anger management, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed care. I also
integrate psychodynamic techniques to foster greater self-awareness, uncover underlying patterns, and
promote meaningful personal growth. Together, we can develop practical skills to manage life's
challenges while gaining deeper insight into the experiences that shape your thoughts, emotions, and
relationships.
Life can be difficult, but you do not have to face it alone. I offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental
space where you can speak openly, explore your experiences honestly, and discover new paths toward
healing and growth. Whether you are working through a specific challenge or seeking greater fulfillment
and balance in your life, therapy can provide the support and tools needed to help you reach your goals
and create lasting change.
