This is my affirmation:
I, Krystal Lynn Kuehn, am a certified and licensed professional counselor and Michigan limited-licensed psychologist. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of capacities--outpatient individual, couples, family and group therapy, children's and youth group leadership, private tutoring and consultation, and music ministry.
I have degrees in Counseling and Psychology and my credentials are as follows: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP), and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH therapist. I am specialized in Mental Health Counseling and am proficient in the areas of affective (mood) and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, relational conflicts, self-esteem issues and spiritual growth. I also am skilled in diagnostic testing and assessment. This includes testing for learning disabilities, attention-deficit problems, personality assessment, career interests, skills, and values, etc.
I strongly believe that every individual is special, unique and of great value. Every person has a purpose in life. Every person is blessed with gifts and talents and the grace to use them. Yet, there are roadblocks in life. There are obstacles to attaining goals and living life to the fullest. I believe there is no insurmountable obstacle that can keep a person from achieving satisfaction and joy in life. And that's where I believe I can be of most assistance as a licensed professional counselor and psychologist.
My mission is to inspire hope and healing, and offer my support and help to the people with whom I work so that they might live their lives to the fullest with joy, inner peace, confidence, and love for life, self and others.
